When I've had a bath I tend to sit and peel my toenails, making a neat little collection on the arm of the sofa or on the coffee table, disgusting habit I know.
When I come to clear the pile away into the bin (or compost) I think to myself that they could almost be mistaken for a measure of desiccated coconut, and wonder if anyone has actually done that.
To be fair to desiccated coconut, I really like it. Jamie made biscuits for us at work the other day 'Anzac Biscuits' (no he's not Australian) and they contained desiccated coconut, which made me think about the similarity.
Proper clipped toenails don't have the same look, it has to be peeled or torn toenails, for that rustic look.
