A bottle of Corona and a wedge of lime

When I've drunk this, how do i recycle?
The bottle can be recycled, as can the wedge of lime, stuck in the bottom of the bottle, so my quandry is this, which recycling container do I put it in?

The GLASS one for the bottle, or the FOOD WASTE one for the lime?

When I discussed this with likeminded fellows a few weeks ago, one of them suggested that the lime should have a tea-bag like string, so that the lime can easily be retrieved and both items recycled accordingly.

Please don't try to copy this idea, as it has been TM'd by Michy, and therefore any duplication of the idea in any way, shape or form, could be construed as plagiarism. So don't do it.

Recycled pens

You can buy recycled pens and they (the suppliers) boast about how good they are for the environment because they've been 'recycled'.
BUT, when the pen runs out - can you then recycle the pen, to become a recycled recycled pen?

How to tell the difference between a Cormorant and a Shag...

To tell the difference between a Cormorant and a Shag (2 native seabirds, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cormorant) just remember the following....

The word Shag ends in the letter 'g' for green, and a Shag has more of a greeny colour to it's plumage.

You'll never ever forget now.

Having babies

I'm at that age when there's lots of baby-talk going around; friends, family and colleagues are either announcing babies or having babies and there comes a time when I think about me having a baby, this doesn't last long, as I start to think about it in more detail and I list the reasons why I'm not ready:

Not ready for a baby because...
  1. I would rather have a new kitchen
  2. I would rather have a new bathroon
  3. I enjoy sleeping, lie-ins and undisturbed sleep
  4. I enjoy taking holidays when I want and where I want
  5. I don't want to give up unpasturised cheese.
  6. I don't want to give up alcohol (I drink port and eat unpasturised cheese)
  7. I don't want to give up eggs.
  8. I don't want to get fat, I've already been fat and struggle with my weight as it is.
  9. I've heard today, that you can't have hot baths or showers in case you 'poach' the baby, so, I don't want to give up hot baths or showers.
  10. I don't want to go though the discomfort of childbirth
  11. I would rather have a flock of chickens
  12. I'm still preferring to give children back to their parents when I've had enough
  13. They are just so expensive
