Making a Christmas wreath with The Little Window Box Company

This was a 2 hr workshop turning this

into this...

Not bad for 2hrs and with all of the equipment supplied, including prosecco and Christmas nibbles!

All done with
https://thelittlewindowboxcompany.co.uk/

Basically you use the twine to attach everything, which was really easy to do. Once the moss was wrapped onto the wire ring with green twine it was pretty much "do what you want..."

There was Confier, Spruce, Ivy, Pistache, Sea holly, holly, stalky stuff with red berries (i forget its name), pine cones, cinnamon, dried orange.

Everything Helen added to hers in the demonstrations looked so pretty and chic and natural. So naturally I wanted to try and replicate this too... add everything, and keep it simple and look classy and sophisticated...

Everyone got stuck in, chatting about Christmas plans, talking about their wreath ideas.

I like seeing the wreaths come together quickly, with the patterns, shapes and symmetry.

Helen and her assistant were so helpful, offering suggestions, talking about the foliage,  explaining how to attach the fiddly bits (cinnamon sticks), tips for disguising wires, creating bows from ribbon and the all important holding up ans working out which way is up - and complimenting our unique creations.

It was a lovely and relaxing way to spend a Friday night, and despite taking pictures (in case i try to make my own next year) I'll still book on the class again next year!

Mine is now installed on my garden gate at the front of the house.
